Dear Parents/Carers

This morning, we experienced an issue with our fire alarm system, which required us to keep the children on the playground longer than expected to ensure the safety of the school building. We have since consulted with the local fire brigade, who have confirmed that it is now safe for the children to return inside while a company comes to repair the alarm.

The children are currently being supervised in the gym and hall by staff, and once the issue with the alarm is resolved within the next hour, they will resume their normal lessons for the day.

The children have also been updated and informed about the situation. If any further updates are necessary, I will be sure to contact parents.
