Ryman National Enterprise Challenge
Pupils form year 7 and 8 have been putting their creative skills to the test to design a new school bag. The UK-wide contest challenges pupils across the country to design a new backpack or satchel for The Leather Satchel Co. Pupils worked together in small teams, communicating, engaging, being creative and thinking strategically before pitching their ideas to their peers and judges.
The winning team will go forward to the national final at Alton Towers in July where they will represent our school against 160 others. Among the judges will be Theo Paphitis, the former Dragon's Den star and Ryman owner, who said he was very impressed with the quality of designs produced in 2014, adding he was looking forward to seeing what would be produced for this year's competition.
